SCOPE:

This program is offered to pregnant or parenting clients with children under 12 months. The purpose of this program is to educate/counsel girls and women who have made the decision or are leaning toward the decision to parent their child. This program will provide parenting education on such issues as health/safety and/or relationships. Clients will earn points for each session completed. These points may be redeemed for “purchases” in the Center’s Baby/Mom’s Boutique or banked for larger items (i.e. Crib, highchair, stroller, play yard etc.) that are purchased specifically for them.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE:

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs22:6 and A child left to himself brings shame to his mother. Proverbs 29:15

OUTCOMES:

• Client will continue her pregnancy because of positive reinforcement, education on her ability to parent.• Client will obtain Godly parenting skills, resulting in a Biblical confidence of her ability to parent.
• Client will desire to model Godly behavior before her child(ren).
• Client will have an understanding of her responsibility to her baby and to herself.
• Client will experience a comfort level for the Center/program so as to refer others to the Center.
• Client will come to a saving knowledge of or reconciliation to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
